Material
Steels used for bearing rings and balls must be cap able of being ade quately hardened and must have high fatigue strength and wear resistance. The structural and dimensional stability of the bearing components must be satisfactory at the operating temperatures which can be expected.
The standard material for bearing rings and balls is vacuum degassed high carbon chromium steel allowing high carbon chromium steel allowing high quality consistency and long bearing service life, material symbol as per china Standard is GCr15. (Table 1, Table 2)
